"VITRI" specimen display stand.
- Cherry finished with beeswax, Reynobond, plastic boxes.
- 14" x 3" x 2"

This extremely simple stand displays 10 clear plastic boxes and their contents. Intended for a desk or windowsill, this piece grew out of my tendency to pick up interesting things off the ground, and my fascination with the now-outdated concept of a "cabinet of curiousities".

The "specimens" on display include: a large beetle, some teeth (mine), a rattlesnake rattle, a butterfly, and some seed pods.

"SAMPLE" found-object vase.
- Glass round flask, metal support arm, bent acrylic.
- 6" x 5" x 5"

Assembled out of discarded found objects, this vase is a weird blend of clinical and folk-art aesthetics. Also, I love the hexagon.
