"DPM" Camouflage swatch generation program

This program, created in the intuitive and flexible Processing environment, takes any specified .jpg file, and ouputs a 5-color .pdf swatch based upon certain metrics of the original image. The colors are extracted from the original image, and appear in similar proportion. The complexity of the shapes is based upon the number of contours in the image, and the opacity of the shapes is based upon the total contrast of the original image. All the backgrounds for this site were created with this program. Scroll down for some examples.
